My journey with MBAdream started a friend told me about Rahul and reading up on mbadream.in.

The journey to a B school isn’t easy. There are constant questions and moments when one feels extremely demotivated and is willing to give up. As an Indian applicant, we are at a disadvantage as the admission process in pretty different from the process in India. It is therefore essential that you connect with someone who has full understanding of the process and criteria.

Rahul was that friend and mentor who kept me motivated and guided me at each step from choosing the right schools networking with them and writing a thank you emails after interview. After starting work on my story and my profile he also motivated me to take another shot at GMAT as I was not happy with my GMAT score he gave me confidence and will take care of the rest I just concentrate on GMAT and every point ill improve help save some money through scholarship. I got a 710, with Rahul’s inputs I gave my applications best attempt.

You can always count on Rahul to give you the most honest advice and feedback. While, I knew why I wanted to pursue and MBA, Rahul helped me create my unique story and he understood my strengths as an applicant and helped me choose the right schools from me.

He understood my busy office schedule and even held practise interview sessions at 11 in the night. He was available 24X7 for me on Gtalk phone watsapp watever way of communicating I could find. I can assure you no other consultant would walk this extra mile for you.

Well, what do I say; I got in touch with Rahul when I was most confident on my GMAT preparation. I randomly ran into MBA Dream.in portal and saw all the testimonials and it further pushed me know more about Rahul. I sat for good three days to investigate his work and astonished with the complements that his students post on internet. I tried looking out for a negative response and found none. With Thorough research and interest, I got in touch with him over phone and our first call went well and I felt confident that his guy will take to all new level on the admissions world

The fact that I didn't even give my GMAT by then has not worried him much because he trusted me right from the beginning. After my disastrous first attempt, this guy is the first man to calm down my nerves and gave me all kinds of mental strength to accept what I just faced. After 18 long months of GMAT Preparation, I proudly called him and shared my GMAT score. Yes, you see it right, for 18 months, Rahul was in touch with me before even we started our first conversation on essays and other admissions stuff. The passion that he showed toward my MBA dream was fantastic and I was actually very much impressed before even we went on to actual business.

I went through many hardships during this phase of my life both personally and professionally. Thanks to The GMAT, The TOEFL, the selection of Good Fit Schools, Approach for my personal story etc. Rahul played an anchor role in constantly motivating me and keeping me on track for all these activities.
Coming to the actual admission process, my initial target university list was totaling different from what Rahul has suggested me except for few in common. Believe me, I was not at all happy to accept to the list that he suggested but my trust for him has made me go for it. Off course, he agreed to work on my dream schools after this initial list of his is done. We both started working on our Essays and boy I must tell you, the immense help I got from him has really taken my story a long way. It has got all the new look and flavor to it. My story suddenly has international standards to it and I like the way it was all crafted by the editing team. They took my story to all together a new level which is likable in the admissions world without disturbing the inner core of my story. I was very impressed when I got to see my first crafted essay. The same spirit has been carried out for all the schools.

Before even I started working on my dream schools, I heard from 2 schools one of which (SMU COX) offered me 80% tuition waiver. All together, my thinking and the approach towards admission process changed. When I started working on my finances with the offer that I received, I could sense a sign of relief with the total amount that would require pursuing my MBA. Now I understood Rahul’s words “Do not worry about school ranking, any school that is top 35 is a great school, think rationally and take a risk”. These words meant a lot to me.  SMU COX was the least priority for me when I first started my application process and believe me, SMU COX is the only offer that dazzled me in the end. Today, I love to accept this offer and I can proudly say I made a RIGHT decision.

So, the moral out here, "KINDLY & BLINDLY BELIEVE IN RAHUL, HE WILL TAKE YOU TO DESTINATION THAT BEST FITS YOU". Rahul's work will not only give you admit from top 40 universities but it also gets you mind blowing scholarship from most of them. I also see the same opinion in my fellow applicants who took Rahul's help. 10 applicants among 15 of my SMU COX community have got admit and they all dedicate their success to Rahul's brilliance. This shows his reach and strength in getting our Indians with appropriate admits. These 10 applicants have multiple admits from top 40 schools like GTECH, McDonough, SMU, Carlson, Tippie, Mendoza, Olin, Illinois. The story telling to all these applications is different and all the crafting brilliance should go to Rahul and Co. Trust Him, I just taught me a lesson that Scholarship is very crucial alongside the admit. We should also be in a position to pay back with ease and I just found one way to succeed in career with low cost.

On a finishing note, I want to Thank Rahul for whatever he has done to me and my application package. I can from the bottom of my heart say "Your suggestion to apply for SMU COX has me a life time opportunity and I can never forget your support in my life" Thank you!

The various services provided by Rahul such as school selection based on the profile evaluation, gmat score, then essay writing and finally mock interview preparation was quiet helpful for me throughout the process. His focus on doing research by candidates first instead of spoon feeding at first go is quiet good because all schools have different specializations and applicants should first do the home-work(school research) then take expert advice (in my case, it was Rahul). His efforts on writing essays by thinking from all prospects and then assistance in weaving the genuine story so that it can be reflected in essays is great. Plus Rahul's willingness to work on multiple draft of essays until or unless the candidate is satisfied is commendable because there is no cap on essay editing count and for him, user experience and satisfaction comes first. And the essays language is modified in such a way that it look professional which is specially needed from candidates specially from India.

In addition, the timely reply from Rahul whenever I had any queries and his experience and exposure of global B-Schools as per the current market demand was helpful as that helped me in taking a proper and informed decision. His friendly behaviour where you feel connected with him is also quiet appreciable because trust is what needed at this stage of career where you are planning a next journey of your life.

Finally, after getting admit from multiple b-schools, I feel highly satisfied with MBA dream team and specially Rahul's efforts.

An Inspiring story of one of India's top most talent - Nikesh Arora

Nikesh Arora completed his schooling in Delhi. He graduated as an Electronic Engineer from IIT BHU in 1989. After completing his engineering he had a brief stint with Wipro selling computers. He however, decided to pursue a management degree from the US and enrolled at Northeastern University MBA. ( Iam surprised Northeastern does not use his name as a significant alum ).

After working as an analyst at Fidelity and Putnam, he moved on to work for Telecom companies. And as destiny would have it he worked for Google and became its Chief Business Officer.

Arora was looking after Google’s European operations from 2004 to 2007 and was later given charge of handling Middle East and African markets. He later took over global sales and became the chief business officer in 2011.

After Quitting Google he joined SoftBank a Japanese Investor which has backed the likes of Oyo rooms, Snapdeal and Grofers. Indeed, Softbank is truly helping Indian Startups.

Nikesh's career is inspiring for all Indians who wish to study MBA in the United States.

I second their unanimous opinion that Rahul is a very humble guy who works hard with you to build your profile. He delivers the essays on time and also maintains their quality. He builds a rapport with his clients and tries to understand every aspect of their profile so that together they can build a very strong application. My ISB admit and experience of working with mbadream review

Deep thinker by nature, I had done a lot of research and analysis of various business schools before my GMAT exam and had an exhaustive list prepared with me. Right after my exam, I thought of taking some guidance on application process and then I found the man of the hour- Rahul Arora. First call, he was out of the way casual to talk with and in short gave me a reality check! Rahul not only helped me re-visit my business school targets and their applications but also made me realize that this crucial step in my life-MBA is not just about running towards the best business school blindly but carefully choosing the optimum option with respect to several facets such as course reputation, finances involved, ROI etc. I learnt that MBA schools application process is actually kind of starter recipe for the bigger management decisions coming in our way ahead. With his encouraging approach and never lay low attitude, I was able to get admits from multiple schools and finally decided to pursue with ISB.  In short, if anyone has any kind of doubts regarding business schools and other related procedures, Rahul is the savior you are looking out for!

"I gave my GMAT at a very later stage leaving me very little time for going through the arduous application process. That’s when my college senior referred me to MBA dream. I can very proudly say today that Rahul, apart from giving highly professional consultation, was always like a friendly mentor to me.  He made sure that my essays include all the required nitty-gritty details to make them stand out amongst the ones coming from all across the globe. The team at MBA dream understood my experience and requirements and accordingly helped me shape my applications. Meanwhile, Rahul also ensured that the process goes smoothly and I never feel too strained. Not only that, the mock interviews with him made me strike the right chord during the real interviews. Thanks a ton Rahul and the team at MBA dream to help me realize my dream."

After giving my GMAT in 2014, I had a lot of time to research and decide about the schools I wanted to apply to. With an average score for an Indian applicant, I was really confused on which schools to apply to. To top this up, I was not really sure on how to position myself in front of the schools. I was also in search of a healthy scholarship to support my education. I found out about MBA dream and I spoke to Rahul. Rahul spoke to me understood my current profile and suggested me some schools to which I can look at and also helped me in positioning my profile in the right way. Before I decided to work with Rahul, I also spoke to some of his current clients and most of them re-assured me to go ahead with Rahul. Today, when I look back, I am happy I made the right decision. Rahul made all conscious efforts to ensure I was motivated through the application process. I only had to approach him for any advice, essay editing or any small suggestion that I wanted, so no smokes screen there. He ensured that I was able to apply to the schools I was targeting, within the stipulated time and also shared suggestions on how to prepare for my interviews. In short he did not allow complacency to creep in during the whole process. He also kept sharing success stories of his previous clients, just to iterate the life changing decisions made by them and how Rahul stood through them all the way. I would like to credit my success in getting admits from US B Schools to Rahul and I wish him luck for the future endeavors as well.

I came in contact with Rahul Sir through a friend of mine who had just got through a reputed school in US. At that time I had not even taken GMAT. He was immediately helpful by advising me on which schools I should apply to. After a second attempt of GMAT, with a score of 700, I was sure that Rahul Sir, would help me get a good b-school. He patiently reviewed my essays, and cleared my doubts during the procedure. He even guided me during the interview process, and suggested ways in which I could project myself in front of the panelists. Ultimately, I was able to get through ISB and Michigan state university and other reputed b-schools with good scholarship. I’m deeply thankful to him for showing faith in me and helping me achieve success.

Application journey to Bschool admits with high scholarships

The application process is an extremely unnerving time.I must say that Rahul was not only doing all the guiding but also calming me down every time I got tensed. He takes absolute ownership for every part of the process and he is as concerned as you are at every step. That truly sets him apart from his competition. From the phone calls at any time of the day and the night to the huge numbers of emails, he helped me through the entire process, from choosing the schools, reading essays questions, searching for interesting topics to write about, rejecting irrelevant topics, rigrous and regression editing and finally the interview preparation. He was there throughout the process, encouraging me and making the process easier for me. My only advice would be that you must trust him with your application. Its in good hands.Based on my outstanding experience, I truly recommend MBA Dream to all the MBA applicants.

Thankyou very much!

Iowa Tippie MBA admitted student speaks about his application journey

In my case, Rahul has indeed turned out be a complete game-changer. I had applied to a lot of schools last year but not managed to clear even one when working with another consultant. I contacted MBA-Dream this year and got to know Rahul who is very friendly and easy going. He knows inside out about what works in US B-Schools and helped me highlight those portions of my story in my essays. If I look at the real difference between this year and last year, its definitely the essays and they came out much much better this year thanks to Rahul. Largely because of his efforts, I have an admit from Tippie this year with full scholarship and a couple of other admits as well.

I had an enriching and learning experience with Rahul from MBAdream. After giving GMAT exam I was looking for a consultant to guide me through the entire process. I stumbled upon Rahul through an MBA forum and was quite impressed by the success stories I read on the MBAdream website. I immediately called him and right from the beginning I found him very easy to work with. You will always find him just a call away for any problem or advice and he keeps things clear and simple. He helped me develop my story around my work experience which attracted interview calls from most of the colleges I applied to. He also helped with the interview process and shared the experiences of his previous clients and the expectations of the school which helps in building your confidence a great deal. Thanks to him I got through one of the top 50 programs with a big scholarship. The best thing is the reasonable price that he has set for the packages which is unmatched in the industry if you consider the quality of service you are getting.

George Washington MBA admit

I knew I had several strikes against me. The first and foremost being my limited years of work ex. The second was my ability to misjudge the timing and context of my sarcasm and sense of humour.

But I also knew where I wanted to go and how I wanted to get there. All I needed was someone to give me a reality check, direct me and preferably help me avoid my penchant for gloom and inappropriate comedic references during the entire process.

I came across MBAdream when I was looking for affordable options for MBA counseling. Right from day 1, Rahul gave it to me straight and took a rather informal personalized approach. It helps if you appreciate a no nonsense approach to things. He played to my strengths and struck a balance between my options while never being discouraging.

Based on my career goals, I got into UC Irvine, George Washington and Johns Hopkins with hefty scholarships and have been shortlisted for other interviews in R2.

I am thankful for the guidance that Rahul gave me and his faith in me.

Karan Wilson MBA Candidate Kelley School of Business
Class of 2017

I am a re-applicant and had applied by myself (with support of family members) in the first year.  The rejects were very disheartening and by the time my first time applications cycle had ended, I was very de-motivated.  That’s the time I decided to explore the possibility of taking help from outside and started speaking to a wide range of consultants; right from the big – names who turned out to be selling off the assembly line solutions to the little known, heavily priced boutique firms who expressed even lesser confidence in me than I had in myself at the time.  I was looking for a value for money, customized proposition designed to fulfill my goals.

I then came across MBADream and at the first glance it seemed too good to be true!  The student testimonials on their website were numerous and superlative and their pricing matrix looked as if it had not been updated for decades.  Just to make sure all of it was not a hoax, I called up the busybody that is Rahul and scheduled an introduction call.  On the intro call itself, I found the ease and confidence I was looking for with Rahul.  We spoke at length and he suggested that I talk with a few students who had worked with him; I did and was further motivated to go with MBADream.  Our first call happened late one night and I wasn’t surprised, I knew Rahul was a busy guy but I also knew that I had his utmost attention like, I can bet, every individual student had.  Rahul helped me to develop a wider perspective and look beyond the obvious information shared in popular rankings.  He guided me with a loose hand, giving me space to experiment and yet, was very frank in his criticism and always guided me towards the right path acting as a compass always pointing me to admittance success.  What I especially enjoyed while working with him was the relationship that we shared, actually share even today; it is a relationship built on trust and honesty.  In the beginning, I was very skeptical about the sort of arrangement this consulting process was (not meeting in person, and everything shared over mails and calls) as I had no similar prior experience.  Rahul put reality in a very objective and matter-of-fact way in front of me which I appreciate.  I believe that it was this conversation that we had which tested our belief in each other and cemented our bond.  Rahul is always ready to hear me out, be it my smallest achievements to my biggest blunders and especially, help me to use them as a “strength” always and never a “weakness”.

I trusted him following his advice and it paid off: my first admit came from SMU (Cox) with 70,000 USD merit scholarship and I was over the moon!  I informed Rahul and he put it very nonchalantly, “This is just the beginning.”  And by God, he was right.  I got in to Vanderbilt (Owen) with another 70,000 USD merit scholarship and after that, I received an admit from the school that I had been pushing for 2 years – IU’s Kelley School of Business and that too with a total of little over 54,000 USD in financial aid.  I could not have hoped for a better outcome of my endeavors.  Since then, I have been actually withdrawing from interviews and rejecting offers.  As I am writing this out, UM’s Carlson has mailed me a congratulations mail for another successful admit.

As this admissions cycle is coming to an end, I feel utmost relief that I went with Rahul and MBADream to fulfill my goal of going to a B-School of my choice.  Post admits, I am still in touch with Rahul for guidance regarding finances, visa, etc. and as ever, he is supportive and helpful.

I wish him and his team members exciting times ahead and greater successes.  MBADream receives big thumbs up from me and comes highly recommended!!

Insight in to business analytic job profile

Profession of a data analyst revolves around analyzing big data and come out with meaningful insights that help client businesses.
On any day, the work being done in an analytical firm can be easily depicted using the DIPP framework. DIPP can be expanded to the following:

  1. Descriptive: work requires deep diving into the client data and give out a detailed report on the asked actionables by the client:
e.g. Client ran a marketing campaign and wants to know the effectiveness of its various marketing portals

  2. Inquisitive: requires analyzing data to find out the reason behind a particular issue the client is facing
e.g. Client is retail giant & wants to know the main reasons behind the frequent stock-outs happening in the stores

  3. Prescriptive: requires using data to come up with actionable insights that can provide relief to the client problem.
e.g. An analysis which shows that products which are cheap & easy to carry are the ones that should be kept as C-Stock as they are store best sellers
  4. Predictive: requires using different statistical technique to generate forecasted value of any historical trend

Apart from this, other important components of a typical day in the field of analytics are:
  • Client interactions
  • Brain Storming sessions
  • Result presentations

Analytics is one of the hottest present day field to work in. Having the advantage of being in its growing stage, career in this field is exciting and promising with a steep curve of growth.

mbadream review by a student at Georgetown MBA

When  I first started my research on MBA Applications, I was overwhelmed by the process and volume of information available, like everybody else. Then I came across the MBADream.in website through online resources. Before I had consulted Rahul, I was strictly aiming at Indian and Asians Business schools as I knew I wouldn’t be able to afford a US Business School. But Rahul really opened up that path for me and convinced me that there are generous scholarships available if the right schools are approached with a good application. I was convinced to an extent but I really did not expect the kind of results I finally got. I ended up with a $ 80,000 scholarship from SMU Cox, a $ 84,000 scholarship from Maryland Smith, a 96% scholarship from Carlson Minnesota, and a $50,000 scholarship from Georgetown. Had it not been for Rahul I wouldn’t even have applied to the US business schools and now I have four offers with generous scholarships to choose from. It is very important to trust his strategy and the school list he suggests and results will definitely come in.
The essays done by Rahul and his editors are of top notch. Most consultants would hardly do 3-4 applications but Rahul and his team helped me with 8-10 applications. He is very approachable. One can just pick up the phone to discuss any issue and expect a patient listener on the other end. They also help you put with the latest interview questions and mock interviews.
With the MBADream team, you can expect to be in good hands. Just trust their judgment and results will come in, for me it definitely did!!
